Tim Bray is best known for co-founding Open Text Corporation and Antarctica Systems. He graduated from the University of Guelph with a Computer Science degree in 1981. Since that time he’s worked for two computer companies, one telephone company, two of his own software startups, and now is at Google. One of those startups, Open Text, is now Canada’s largest software company. He’s helped create Internet standards, co-authored XML, published some open-source software, and has written over a million words on his blog at www.tbray.org (http://www.tbray.org/).

Arrive between 6:00pm and 6:30pm to network with other attendees. The presentation starts at 6:30pm. The evening consists of a 45 minute talk by Tim Bray, followed by a 30-minute Q&A with the audience.
