Hello

Everybody knows that in order to speak fluently a second language you need the right kind of practice - and lots of it!

In these respects, a language exchange is more effective than the traditional language class because you practice more than you would in a class, talking with native speakers of the language you're learning, in a relaxed and friendly environment where there is patience and time to understand

Also, there is no native speaker except the teacher (if you're lucky). That means you are not used to listening to native speakers and may not be able to understand them. You're probably not learning the informal expressions and slang that native speakers use all the time. You don't learn anything about how the people really "are" in that culture, how they interact, their sense of humor, their values, etc.

Therefore, a language exchange is the best training to bridge the gap between classroom learning and communicating in the real world

If you are a native English speaker and have enough patience to hear us saying what? what? what? what? lol every 2 minutes, “VERY WELCOME.” We need you!!!! We could teach you some interesting foreign words, too

Here are some other great reasons:

 - It's fun and you can make new friends from different cultures

 - You learn slang and colloquial expressions you don't usually learn in a language class.

 - There is no homework or boring grammar books to study. - You practice both listening and speaking at the same time

I will try to schedule something at least once a week.

All kinds of suggestions, ideas, etc. are very welcome

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
