Details

Cherry Canyon is a dry canyon located in the Virgin River Gorge north of Vegas. I did it once, but honestly do not remember all that much about it, other than it was fairly short and rather scenic - LOL.

Note: We do have to cross the Virgin River at the start. You may want to bring a water shoes and/or extra socks to wear when crossing. These can be stashed on the other side of the river and picked up when we exit.

We have a 2 hr drive up and a 2 hr drive back, plus 5 to 7 hrs in the canyon, so anticipate this taking a full day. Pack a full lunch and bring plenty of water.

Remember daylight savings will FALL BACK on Saturday night so plan accordingly.

Basic Details:

Rappels: 8 to 10
