She has been published in several diverse anthologies and magazines, ranging from John Skipp’s horror anthologies to A Cup of Comfort for Parents of Children with Special Needs. Mercedes works as a contributing editor for Shock Totem Magazine, and is represented by Jason Yarn from Paradigm Talent Agency. Her short story collection, Beautiful Sorrows, was released in September of 2012.
