This event is for everyone interested in hiking to Havasu Falls. I will only take 8 to 10 hikers with me, Which means whoever sends the permit fees will be moved to the Going list. You must know basic camping & backpacking skills and have an easygoing personality. You must sent the permit fee by Jan 18th, 2024.
Being part of this event costs $540 ($460 for each permit + $80 for Mules) per person (Additional & optional expenses include Helicopter ride back).
Make sure to account for Gas expenses and lodging on the 21st, Food Etc...
Everyone will be responsible for their food and well-being.
Typically, a maximum stay of 3 nights and 4 days is required. Reservations are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable.
Plan:
Day 1 - we travel to Arizona and rest somewhere close to the Havasupai Visitor Center (Trailhead). We need to pickup wrist bands. We go there a day before to avoid driving in the dark.
Day 2 - Around midnight, We will Sign in at the Havasupai Visitor Center (Trailhead) and leave our baggage for the mules (We are hiking down during midnight to avoid Day time heat)
Once we reach the campsite, set our tents, rest, eat ... get ready to explore 50-foot falls, Havasu Falls, and Navajo Falls (No Rush, if required we will visit them again on Day 3 during sunrise)
Day 3 - We are going to Mooney Falls, Beaver Falls (Optional hike to confluence, where Muddy Colorado River meets with Turquoise Havasupai stream)
Day 4 - By now we will know the landscape better so We will once again explore the best falls among all, and make final memories.
Day 5 - Everyone who wants to take the helicopter ride back will stand in queue for pickup (Extra cost around $125 ($100 for you + $25 for your bag up to 40 lbs) for each person along with your bag).
Anyone who wishes to hike back, I advise you to wake up early in the morning around 3 AM, pack, leave heavy bags for the mules, and start hiking up way before sunrise. you don't want to get caught in the heat.
It is a big amount so Please do not send money unless you completely read the description and are fully committed to the adventure.
