Are you currently working on your own tech start-up? Or do you work for a start-up?

Yes. It's very early yet, and it is an accelerator that's also a radical experiment in unifying entrepreneurship and culture makers.

What is the name of the start-up? And what sector is it in (e.g. Edtech, Health, Consumer, Enterprise, etc.)?

At what stage is your tech start-up at (e.g. not launched yet, early stage pre revenue, Beta, seed funded, Series A, etc.)?

Yes. It is an accelerator /field lab that's also a radical experiment in unifying entrepreneurship and culture makers. There is also an educational component for youth and adults as well that teaches imagination and innovative "what if" thinking using a narrative transmedia urban game/ARG with the backdrop of medieval Spain juxtaposed with a year 2020 setting. I've also been very influenced by the JOBS Act, and we'll use using crowdfunding to seed the ventures (these two posts in particular: http://www.avc.com/a_vc/2012/04/can-the-crowd-be-more-patient.html and http://www.forbes.com/sites/jjcolao/2012/05/08/fred-wilson-and-the-death-of-venture-capital/)

Are you considering doing a tech start-up? If yes, when and in what sector? What do you need help with?

Yes, my own. (I've also worked at startups previously in computer engineering, CTO, and strategic marketing roles.) Currently, I'm also freelance consulting on 'slow marketing' (Google it...)

This sounds like an awesome meetup. Both my parents are from Cuba, and I still have extended family there.
