After a successful edition of our NEXT event back in June we’re now organizing two similar events in the US.
Claire Boonstra (Co-founder), Matt Miesnieks, (Head of Customer Development) Maurice Groenhart (Community Manager) and Marc Rene Gardeya (CEO Hoppala, member of the Layar Partner Network) will visit the US in the second week of August.
This event will give you more insights on the conceptual, commercial and technical possibilities of the Layar platform, it's distribution, plans for the future and anything else you always wanted to know. Target audience are brands, agencies and developers who are already now or plan to be active on the Layar platform.
So if you want to learn more about Layar. RSVP now for this meetup in San Francisco
The meet-up will be held at the Adaptive Path venue:
363 Brannan St.
San Francisco, CA
We would like to thank to Adaptive Path and especially Kate Rutter for hosting our event at this venue.
This looks like a great time to meet the folks behind the layar
Question: What is the parking situation at Adaptive Path?
Hi, all: So glad you can join us at the Layar event!.
The answer to the parking question is this:
* There is metered parking all around Adaptive Path. Meters are expensive, but end at 6pm.
* We are near the ballpark, and there is a Giants game that day. It starts at 12:45, so parking should be okay by 6pm, but be aware of excessive partiers in the bars and street.
* Garages nearby average $10 but close at 7pm, so I wouldn't recommend that.
Next comment is with public transit info.
Hey all: Getting to Adaptive Path on public transit is easy. These are the best options: 1) MUNI/BART to Montgomery and walk up 2nd street (15 min walk) 2) Take the MUNI light rail along the Embarcardero and get off at the ballpark. Then walk North to 2nd/Brannan. There are also buses, but I think MUNI is best.
See you there!
