Augmented Reality Thursday (ART)

On the first Thursday of each month, Layar hosts Augmented Reality Thursday (https://www.meetup.com/LayarEvents/) (ART). The objective of this monthly event is to inspire and update people about the current field of Augmented Reality and the position of Layar within it. Next to that we would like to connect developers, publishers, brands and (of course) our employees to exchange stories, visions and ideas.

The setting is very informal so NO chairs, long presentations or tea-breaks, but a lot of fun!

This month we'll have a presentation by 3D modeling expert Klaas Nienhuis (http://www.linkedin.com/in/klaasnienhuis), who will talk about the 3D effort he has led for the UAR (http://m.layar.com/open/uar) layer/app and provide valuable insights about 3D modeling/texturing. Anyone interested in 3D modeling for AR will NOT want to miss it!
