Hi Everyone,

After some great pitches to end August (check out the pitches HERE (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13Zcu7aEtmE&list=UUfkj-8vl4scMA7Z9VQQuc-Q)) we'll showcase some cutting edge innovations from CSIRO in September.

As an added bonus there will be a presentation from CSIRO's engagement office to identify opportunities for collaboration. There will also be time for Q&A, so come prepared and don't miss the opportunity to pick the brains of Australia's leading scientists!

As usual, we will have drinks, food, plus Melbourne's best networking for startup founders, developers, business folk and anyone passionate about entrepreneurship.

Check out more details below:

Australia has a long history of being a hotbed for cutting edge innovation. Just look at this list of Australian inventions: the refrigerator, the electronic pacemaker, wifi, the cochlear implant, solar hot water, ultrasound and the blackbox recorder (to name a few).

The one organisation that has been able to consistently add to this list is Australia's premier research organisation, CSIRO. Since 1926 CSIRO has been conducting research and realising breakthroughs in a diverse range of domains; from high speed internet to radar astronomy to polymer banknotes.

Startup Victoria and CSIRO have partnered up to bridge the gap between Australia's leading scientists and professionals who know how to GSD.

So are you interested in an exclusive behind-the-scenes showcase of CSIRO's current projects; meeting the minds behind these projects; and you want to find out more about potential partnerships with CSIRO?

Then join us for September's Lean Startup Melbourne!
