At the end, mention where you are in the startup process (idea, post launch, mature) and what you need - (developers, testers, customers, marketing support, etc)

3:45 - 4:15 - Understanding and Identifying Customer Needs

Group activity is different every month

We split up into groups of 4-6 and work together on a lean startup related activity.

4:15 - 4:20 - Feedback on group activity

4:20 - 4:30 - Wrap-up and prize drawing

4:30 - 5:00 - Socialize / Continue group activity

The monthly meeting kicks off with a short talk from a guest speaker (TBA) from an established company, or someone from this group , presenting their solutions and sharing their experience using the process.

Next we will have a series of 1-minute pitches from attendees. Be sure to mention where you are in the startup process and what you need.

For the group activity, attendees organize into teams, and works on a lean startup related activity. The activity is different every month.

The Lean Startup activity will help promotes a problem-centric approach to business ideation. By continuously validating and invalidating assumptions, teams are forced to pivot their solution (and even problem) toward a true customer pain rather than creating a solution and after-the-fact seeking customers with a problem.

The event was entertaining as always. I would like to see in the future how guests are wanting to apply Lean to their business, to do this they will need the top components that make Lean effective. Can we get more into the discovery of the attendees?

    Good event

A summary of a good (even at almost 20 years old) book that touches on some of the material we covered today:

I have a PDF of the entire book someplace . . . I'll keep looking.

I only have ideas at the moment of what I want to do. I would like to build a fun center for people of all ages and abilities. I would also like to write a children's fiction book the mentions aspergers and to design toys that kids with special needs can relate too.
