Learning Analytics Summer Institute 2014 - Public Event

This public event is designed to create the opportunity to hear from leading researchers in Learning Analytics about ideas that can be applied into practice today. The Society for Learning Analytics Research (http://www.solaresearch.org/) will be running the Learning Analytics Summer Institute 2014 (http://www.solaresearch.org/events/lasi-2/lasi2014/) in Cambridge at the end of June and early July. So we have access to the leaders in the field of Learning Analytics and we will take this opportunity to hear from four speakers and then break into discussion groups.

7:30-8:00 Community Discussion - we will break into four focus groups around the topics in the presentation to have Q&A about the presentations and start conversations with people interested in similar topics. Not only will you be hearing from leading researchers, this event will be a chance to network with people visiting Cambridge for the institute. There should be a lot of opportunity for discussions about the research and practice of Learning Analytics with people that share your interests and are active in the field of Learning Analytics.
