If you understand the basics of programming, but you want to get started with developing Android apps, then this is the workshop for you. This workshop requires you to know the basics of programming in Java and understand basic object-oriented principles.
This is an introductory workshop for Android development, which will introduce you to everything needed to start building Android applications. If you do not have any programming experience, then this is not the workshop for you (please check out our beginner course, targeted exactly for this case: Introduction to Java (http://skl.sh/12aNOiH)).
Workshop format
The most effective way to learn programming is just to dive in. Each topic will be briefly covered in a few minutes of lecture and accompanied by several live exercises. In addition to the exercises, we will be building a 2D "Snakes" game collaboratively applying each topic as it is introduced.
