Dr. Carl Binder is Co-Founder of The Performance Thinking Network based on Bainbridge Island, creator of Six Boxes® Performance Thinking, and a long-time thought leader in the field of performance improvement.

One of B.F. Skinner’s last graduate students at Harvard, Carl has devoted himself to making the findings of behavior science usable by individuals and organizations, striving for simplicity and elegance without sacrificing depth. He delivers programs, coaching and advice to leaders, managers and performance professionals worldwide, serving organizations in over a dozen industries.

Carl received the Fred S. Keller Award from the American Psychological Association in 2004 for contributions to education and training, and the Thomas F. Gilbert Distinguished Professional Achievement Award from the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) in 2012.
