Marion Palmer taught instructional design for many years as part of the Applied Psychology degree at IADT where she was Head of Department. Her research interests are teaching, assessment and technology enhanced learning. Marion is chair of WITS Women in Technology and Science www.witsireland.com .
Catherine Bruen (https://ie.linkedin.com/in/catherine-bruen-0b12366), Technology enhanced Learning (TeL) Manager for Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI)
Catherine's areas of expertise include best practice pedagogies for eLearning; online learning, assessment, learning design and digital learning resource design, strategic development around the use of digital education. Her research interests include Technology enhanced Learning, Communities of Practice, Open educational resources (OERs), digital literacy, digital professionalism, adaptive learning, academic practice and personalised learning. Catherine is deputy chair of Irish Learning Technology Association (ILTA) http://ilta.ie .

With over 10 years of industry experience, Mirjam currently designs innovative learning strategies at the Learnovate Centre for a wide variety of clients. She is also involved in industry-driven research on learning technology innovations.
Prior to Learnovate, Mirjam worked for companies such as T-Mobile, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Google. She completed her MA in Psycholinguistics and BA in Speech Therapy. She started her career as a Speech Therapist, working with adults with aphasia and children with various neurological disorders.
