A Primer on eLearning Project Management

Details

eLearning development is both an art and a science. Today’s modern online training weaves together various creative and technical elements including storytelling, graphic artistry, web programming, instructional design theory, and much more. Creating even moderately complex eLearning oftentimes requires a team effort that can include instructional designers, content writers, subject matter experts, graphic artists, voiceover artists, eLearning programmers (Storyline, Captivate, etc.) and of course – a project manager.

“A Primer on eLearning Project Management” is a presentation delivered by Magic - CEO of eLearning, Inc. Magic has developed eLearning for clients ranging from Harvard Clinical Research Institute to Carl’s Junior, Key Bank, and many more.

During this session participants will learn:

· The 5 core eLearning development tasks and the job roles that perform them

· Agile methods for eLearning project management

· Tools to accurately estimate the time and budget required for your next project Participants are encouraged to bring examples of their work and/or questions regarding specific challenges they are facing.

This is your opportunity to learn and apply eLearning development strategies from one of the world’s foremost interactive eLearning development professionals. Magic works and lives in the Seattle Metro area and is available for individual consultations as needed. To learn more about this session or to discuss your project in specific, feel free to contact him at magic@eLearning.net

At Learning Developer, we treat each project as unique. We do not force projects into generic templates; rather, we design custom interfaces appropriate to the audience and the content at hand. Our interactive tests, games, and simulations are designed to match the content and the learners who will experience it. We work with our clients and their Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to define the most effective approach to meeting your specific eLearning goals.
