A group for those who love discussion on a wide variety of topics as suggested by members, or who just want to review a book, film, album, art exhibition etc. This isn’t a group for pros – although experts are very welcome – it’s open to everyone of all abilities, including amateurs such as myself. Naturally, there'll be plenty of off-topic chat and just hanging-out with friends, too. Random social gatherings will feature as well.

Meetings take place day or night in cafes, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, pubs, patisseries! or somewhere outside if it’s nice.

If you'd like to discuss something with members, don't be shy, suggest a meetup. Don't be put off by the kind of discussions already scheduled - at the moment it seems to be mostly me with the ideas and naturally they reflect what i'm into.

I should also point out that this is very much an informal group and more of social group really. I am not a teacher, guru or anything like that, in fact i'm rather shy and quiet at times.

This means that our group is quite unique to the Meetup commmunity as we dont have leaders, we are all leading the discussion and perhaps learning a bit along the way. I hope that is ok with you - i just don't want you to come to meet-ups with high expectations, but if you get something out of a meeting, great.
