The StartEd Seminars #4: Brexit Blues? The legal and regulatory implications for Irish SMEs.
Much has been written about how Brexit will be detrimental to the Irish economy as a whole, but what are the specific implications for the SME sector? The fourth StartEd seminar will look at the legal and regulatory factors that small and medium-sized businesses in Ireland will have to consider once the UK leaves the European Union.
The seminar - which is supported by Enterprise Ireland - will be followed by a pizza & beer networking event, and it will be hosted in Dogpatch Labs' iconic Vaults event space. The seminar will commence with a series of talks followed by an extended Q&A.
Full programme:
Paul White, William Fry
Paul is a Partner in William Fry's Corporate Group, with a focus on startup companies/SMEs and advising on the legal issues you will face as your company grows and develops. Aidan will provide the perspective of IBEC and its over 7,500 members on the challenges for Ireland's SMEs in light of Brexit, where next for regulation in the context of Brexit and what assistance could be provided to SMEs in these uncertain times.
After the talks, we will have an extended Q&A session, where the panelists will be joined by Anne Lanigan of Enterprise Ireland.
