Whether you're an artist, author, entrepreneur, campaigner or a father due to speak at his daughter's wedding, one day you'll have to stand in front of a group and talk.

Why wait until then? Feeling comfortable speaking to an audience can be a real boost for both your career, and your confidence.

Come along to this fun and supportive evening for a chance to practice public speaking with others just like you.

There will be four parts to the evening:

Warm up:

Group games and exercises to break the ice and get everyone limbered up.

Dealing with nerves:

Learning and practising breathing techniques to help with any nervousness.

Just speak:

Impromptu speeches prepare us for those unexpected moments when we may be asked to speak in a business meeting, on a panel or to the media.

Speaking without preparation on a given subject for one to two minutes helps to build up your ability to think on your feet, and be at ease with being in front of a group.

Prepared Speeches:

Each evening we will have three speeches, each between five and seven minutes in length. *

Each speaker gets feedback from a single person that highlights what they did really well, and suggests a single area to focus on improving for their next speech.

(* if you want to give a prepared speech - please get it touch! :) )
