Welcome, Sacramento Area Lesbian Professionals!
We have a life, not a lifestyle - let's live it...
Our mission is to provide an exclusive environment for the development of social- and career-networking, education, and dialogue for lesbian professionals within the greater Sacramento community.
What are we? Sacramento's largest and fastest growing social group of lesbian professionals.

2. a person who is expert at his or her work.

What we are not. Everyone has an opinion about this, that and the other thing - that's cool. We don't always think alike, but we are always open-minded and respectful. We are not a political or activist group. We are not a billboard for advertisements. We are not a hookup group.
Group Policies. Make sure you check out our group policies[/url].
What we do. Socialize, expand personal and professional networks, and build friendships with other lesbian professionals. Once each month we meet as a group at a local wine bar, coffee house or restaurant/bar. From time-to-time we get together to participate in a wide variety of other social & cultural activities like: Music Circus, galleries, museums, Broadway Sacramento, wine tastings, Pride, Rainbow Festival, happy hour, dinner, cook-outs, brunch, camping, movies, skiing, boating, hiking, biking, road trips and much more.
We are OUT and PROUD! We're a social group and we want to know you so please don't use anonymous names like "dreamytraveller" or "wonderbra36d" and please post a picture. People who remain anonymous tend to be gongoozler's, lurk in the background and rarely attend events. We want you to participate. Come on out! Have some fun and make new friends!
ALWAYS RSVP. Even if your RSVP is NO. And REMEMBER, an RSVP is a social commitment. Your Hosts and Organizers go to great lengths and often personal expense to make these events fun and enjoyable. If you are unable to show up, please update your RSVP a minimum of six hours before the start time of the event.
Participate. Continued membership in the group REQUIRES each member to participate in group activities on a regular basis. From time-to-time we post a POLL, please take a minute to respond - polls help us tailor events to your liking. You can find our polls at http://www.meetup.com.... Talk to the group using our MESSAGE BOARD - you'll find message board updates on the right-hand side column of "Our Home" page or the complete list at http://www.meetup.com....
Adults & humans only. Sorry, Meetup's are not open to children (under 21) or pets, unless otherwise specified in the write-up. However, there are always exceptions. As women and mothers, we have children (& the furry kind) in our lives and sometimes events are flexible. So please, contact your organizers with questions.
Help us experience continued growth. Promote our group! Promote our Meetup's! Spread the word - invite your lesbian professional friends to join our group or bring them to an open Meetup. Email our group link to your friends: http://www.meetup.com... [www.meetup.com/LesbianProfessionals/].
Let's keep it growing!
