Love to go camping, but find that planning a group camping trip is a pain? Not many of your friends are up for getting down and dirty for a weekend?

This group is for people seriously interested in camping. We do require deposits in advance to secure your spot on the trip. The deposits are used to cover reservations, fees, and extras like firewood. Because they are also used as an incentive against last minute cancellation deposits are usually not refundable.

Because this is meant for people interested in group camping, you should be prepared to carpool, share tents, meals, and activities. Washington State Parks has a 2 tent per site regulation, and in order to get a good sized group, single tents will usually not be permitted. There is also a limit to the number of cars we can bring, and additional fees will be required if we exceed it.

The main focus of Let's Go Camping is to get out and explore nature in the Northwest. We will be active mainly during the summer months, although there will be some non-camping, educational activities all year round.
