So maybe you're not into an adrenaling rush. Or, maybe you already experienced the Half Day Adventure pack, your still shaking and you can't bring yourself to do it again. Or, maybe funds are tight right now.
If you want to go to HCR with us and just be a spectator, you can do that too. This meetup is for anyone that wants to hang out and watch the action, then stay and camp. Camping is just $5 a night. There are lots of hiking trails to explore and Kyles Landing is a great swimming hole.
There are no RSVP limits on this meetup. If you are going to do the activities, please RSVP on the other meetup.

On July 14th, some of the most fearless members of TAH were selected (volunteered) to participate in what would be called, “Operation Adrenalin Rush!” We made our way down to Horseshoe Canyon Guest Ranch (A dude ranch outside of Jasper AR) in the early morning hours. (Okay, we left at 7am.) Our goal was to participate in an extreme experiment. We would be the first group ever to experience the Half Day Adventure package!
We arrived at HCR at Oh-9ish and proceeded to get geared up. Thunder rolled in the background as we made our way to the adventure site. We had no fear…(okay, we were scared to death because after all a zip line is made of METAL!!!!) We had to pause for the storm to pass, but eventually we completed “Operation Adrenalin Rush”!
I can’t promise you a thunder storm, but I can promise you one of the greatest times of your life! We are going back for more! Normally these activities are only open to guests of the ranch, but we have been selected to participate as a group. If you want to ride the big zip, swing on the giant screamer and climb the via ferrata, here is your chance!
All three events are only $100 per adult, $80 per child. YES, this is a family event! College students can get a 50% discount with a current student ID.
What about accommodations? You can make this a day trip. You can camp at HCR for just $5 a day. You can rent a cabin, $95 per 4 people, $10 for each extra person up to 7. (Cabin can only be rented one week in advance.)
This meetup is limited, so please do not RSVP unless you are really going.
All hikers and adventure peeps do so at their own risk!!
