WE will build the roads! Implementing a stateless society

This is an informal drinks event to discuss Libertarian theories, recent news and events in general, the state of libertarianism in the various parties and in the culture.

Andy Bolton will return to complete his interupted Open Mic session which calls on Libertarians to refocus their efforts on the creation of institutions of the kind we want to see in our end-game, but to do it now, first. Andy has my support in this call, so I am very happy to have him back to articulate his reasons in full.

Be sure you have read the Rose and Crown survival guide before attending for the first time.

What I find interesting is that everyone that signed up today was a Google user. Zero Yahoo users and no-one has even looked at other Open Id options.

I'll be in Ohio for most of September, so I'll not be attending. The title reminded me of the time a mall developer in Houston, Texas built around seven miles of highway during the early '80s because he needed customers and couldn't wait on the back-logged government to build it. Later, however, he turned the highway over to the state to provide for the highway's maintenance off the back of tax victims.
