UKIP: a comfortable home for libertarians?

The monthly meet-up in the Rose and Crown continues with Harry Aldridge visiting to persuade us that UKIP would make a comfortable home for any libertarian who wants to change society for the better. This promises to be a lively session.

This is primarily an informal drinks event to to discuss Libertarian theories, recent news and events and the state of libertarianism in general. The talk will begin at 8 and the Q&A will wrap up by 9, leaving plenty of time before closing to chat about anything else you'd like to.

To find us, follow the stairs up from behind the bar and keep going. Follow @LibertarianHome on twitter for updates from me, and hashtag #libhome to connect with other visitors.

Please get the right Rose and Crown there are two in Southwalk! This one is on Colombo Street.

30 attended. Before hand 12 said they would enthusiastically back UKIP or join it. At the end 15 said they would but the question was clarified and we said voting for it should count. On reflection that could account for the difference. So, not a dramatic increase but some success.

How did Harry's sales pitch go down with the libertarians in attendance?

A great event. Very eloquent speaker and good questions fielded by all.

Hi All. Given the very good numbers who have RSVPed and the fond words I'm seeeing in other forums, can I ask anyone who can't make it to update their RSVP accordinly. An accurate count will help the pub to provide enough chairs.
