Arthur has been running as a candidate for various offices since 2008.

Opponent: Joe Straus, speaker of the house. 2 year terms, no limit.
Arthur needs your support,
Texas Libertarian Candidate for US Senate, John Jay Myers
He's been excluded from tonight's debate, but isn't going down without a fight!

According to a press release issued on October 1st, Myers' campaign staff filed a complaint with the FCC last week on the grounds that WFAA [debate host] has based its candidate invitations on partisan favoritism rather than object considerations of newsworthiness.
"The metrics have no objective thresholds, and none of the candidates meet all of the standards. They claimed to be impartial, but without these specifics their criteria are meaningless, leaving the decision to be based solely on their own biases."- John Jay Myers
Now, the Myers campaign is looking forward to the KERA debate on October 19th, but he needs your help!

A polite, but firm, call and email to KERA insisting that they INCLUDE THE LIBERTARIAN CANDIDATE will go a long way. Please show your support:

Three Organizations Drop Support of Debate, Oppose Exclusion of Gary Johnson
Phillips Electronics, BBH New York, and the YWCA have all dropped their sponsorship of the presidential debates hosted by the Commission on Presidential Debates.
The exclusion of Libertarian Gary Johnson has resulted in an avalanche of mail to the sponsors, which is causing them to drop their sponsorship.  The sort, as well as contact information for the remaining sponsors, can be found at
Want to help? Please contact the remaining 7 sponsors of the Commission on Presidential Debates AND call the Commission on Presidential Debates today at [masked]. Tell them you want to see Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson in the televised debates!

Message from the Chair
Fellow Texas Libertarian,
In 35 days, the results of 2 years of effort will be in.  That is how much time we have to support our candidates, plant Pat Dixon yards signs, talk to our friends, and bring people into the Libertarian Party.  As a candidate myself, I appreciate all the support I get and am proud to represent the party on the ballot.

Despite all of the obstacles we have faced, including an unprecedented redistricting fiasco, we will have a lot of candidates on the ballot throughout the state.  I am proud to join them and hope you are proud to support them.

Yours in Liberty,
Pat Dixon
