Tennis Club Fees

Hi All!

It was great to meet some of you this past weekend and I had fun, even if VERY rusty.

So, it's time to get a bit organized.

I've now set up membership dues on the meetup site. We collected some money which covered the site fees for 2010. I also know Helen has collected some $$ in 2012, thanks Helen!! For 2011 and so far in 2012, I've been paying $19 per month myself for the site fees. So, the purpose of the fees are to:

- recoup 2011 expenses and 1st quarter 2012

- pay for rest of 2012 site fees and beyond

** Note, moving forward, we will try to sign up 6 months at a time to meetup so it is around 30% cheaper that way.

** Also, if we have any left over money in a given year, we'll use that for balls.

I've set the payment at $10. I hope that is OK. Please read below depending on what category you think you're in.

Active Players:

If you know you're a regular and active member of the group or plan to be one in 2012; please pay the dues. At this time, I am going to try to not ask for 2011 and 2012 fees. I'm just asking for one $10 payment from regular players. We'll see if we can get enough regular player contributions this month to pay for 2011 and 2012 meetup fees. Then, we can reduce the membership dues to say $5 next year. If we don't get enough $$ to cover though, we'll sort out what to do by perhaps asking for a one off small ($3 to $5) payment to cover any gap.

New/Inactive/Very Infrequent Players:

I don't expect people who have never come out for a hit to pay. Of course, if you're new or haven't got around to having a hit yet, but want to - please come out, have a hit and see if you like the group and the tennis. If you like it, simply pay and play! If not, but you want to keep up to date with the club while perhaps not playing much or at all; please just ping the organizers and we can help out by not having you pay until you become more more active.

Hope this makes sense and is OK with everyone. Please ping me if you have any questions and I hope you all have a fun summer of tennis.

Thanks and see you soon.

Brett
