BECOME A FOSTER PARENT

We are here to help you learn how to become a foster parent and tell you just how cool fostering can be!!!!! We will also be posting resources on positive parenting skills by a licensed Mental Health Counselor frequently for those of you who are parents already.

I cannot begin to tell you how working with foster kids has changed my life. Fostering is rewarding in so many ways. I feel my life is richer since I started working with foster care kids and families. I have a deeper sense of purpose and a better understanding of the importance of family (not just biological).

Many kids just want a family to call their own and some just need a place, for a short amount of time, to feel safe until they return to their biological parent. The people involved in fostering are some of the neatest, most genuine people I have ever met and have become life long friends!!!

We are looking for fun, enthusiastic, loving individuals to share their homes and hearts with our foster kids. We define family as anyone who would like to share their life and home with a foster child. By becoming a foster parent you receive a tax free stipend and room and board rate, are supported by our staff 24 hours a day, and training is provided free of cost to you.
