Zoltan Istvan is a well known transhumanist author, journalist and is the 2016 Transhumanist Party candidate running to be president of the United States.

J. Marvin Herndon is a “maverick geophysicist” most noted for deducing the composition of the inner core (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inner_core) of Earth as being nickel silicide (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silicide) rather than nickel-iron.

The event starts at 7:00 pm and will likely run about two hours. Admission is $8.
