Greg Farnum: The Ceph Project (Joint meetup with UUASC)

Details
Please join us for our December meetup (a joint meetup with UUASC): Greg Farnum of InkTank will be presenting on The Ceph Project (http://ceph.com/)
Greg has been working on the Ceph project since he graduated in 2009 from Harvey Mudd College. He serves as the POSIX filesystem team lead and has done work throughout the entire project, most recently developing installation and management systems.
He will discuss the Ceph distributed storage system architecture and how you can use it to provide reliable object, block, and file storage with mainline Linux clients as well as external projects like OpenStack.
We will also have a Linux book donated by O'Reilly Media - drop your business card into the bowl and we'll pick a winner at the end of the night!
