As promised, the next meetup will be an introduction to data science!
This one is for people with no prior experience, and will go through the basics of how to prepare data for a classifier, and how to use your first machine learning algorithm.
It is at Academia de Código, who have generously sponsored this event with the location.
As for speakers, we'll have the following:
• Pedro Fonseca - How to find, input and prepare data for Machine Learning
• Ekaterina Stambolieva - How to train and use machine learning algorithms
The pre-requisites are a (basic) understanding of Python, and nothing else. We really recommend this one only for those who are only taking the first steps with machine learning.
