General Information:
Live Work New Mexico seeks to unite solo professionals so that they can share work strategies, gain state and local tax incentives, and get recognized as a powerful force of economic development in the State of New Mexico.  Although our initial efforts were for Sandoval County, Bernalillo is in focus and will be getting our attention as well.  We've got various partners with initiatives such as vOffice Network located in the Metro Albuquerque area.

 

Description:
 State and local governments and economic developers have long been throwing money at large companies, trying to make New Mexico attractive with incentives, training options, and technical and logistical support.

At CELab, we're asking, why aren't we doing the same thing for individuals?

Up to this point, there has been nowhere for home-based workers to go, no resource centers, no support from the community, etc. We are aiming to change all of this. But we want this to be your project. You know your community — the pros, cons — and you know your business, and what can be done to make you more efficient and competitive, and what resources your community can provide you assist you and those like you.

 

Getting Involved:

We are looking for like minded indivduals who can help us with this project as wells as service partners who will step up to say that they support home-based businesses.  If you feel you want to participate in any way, please join our meetup.  We will have organized sessions soon.
