Information Graphics: From Complexity to Change

Details

This month we will be investigating information graphics role in facilitating change. How can we make problems visible so we can better equip ourselves or organizations to create solutions?

This is a collaborative and participatory style meetup. First, we will hear from people behind the scenes creating expert data visualizations. Guests include visual thinker Martha Denton (https://www.marthadenton.com), who will use her visual communication background to address data from Mark Belinsky, co-founder of Digital Democracy (https://www.digital-democracy.org). Every discipline is encouraged to come to this inter-disciplinary discussion.

Let's create a space to spark collaboration, engage in discussion with a group of innovative designers, and create a community of people sharing, learning and making things happen! Learn about what we are working on at Live With Design, the vision and how you can get involved.

We hope you can make it out and let's get started on the next big "design" thing..
Also we'd like to start the conversation about this topic in the next coming weeks so you can tweet us interesting information graphics and or data sets to twitter.com/livewithdesign (https://www.twitter.com/livewithdesign) or post them on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/livewithdesign)... and we'll bring that information to the meetup.

See you all there,

Brielle
