Having a lazy breakfast at Panera, enjoying a break before or after the errands while chatting and reading poetry is my kind of Saturday morning. When it's warm we will sit outside. I will be there from 10 AM to roughly 12:00 PM, noon. Please join me - even if you are coming later! - for a poetic breakfast!

The Heron Clan Zoom invites those published in the Heron Clan, those who have submitted but haven't yet heard their fate and all friends who have ever heard of the Heron Clan. It's first come first served and we read 1,2 or 3 poems per set.

Join Carrboro Recreation, Parks & Cultural Resources Department on the first Tuesday of the month. This is a night where poets can engage with others and share the power and diversity of poetry. This program will provide the opportunity for people to celebrate, to share and to encourage the writing, reading and listening of poetry. Tongue & Groove is an open mic hosted and organized by Anna Weaver, Sarah Egan Warren, and Andrew Warren.

Every second Sunday, Raleigh’s local talent gathers to co-create a night of ephemeral art—including poetry, music, storytelling, and the occasional interpretive dance. Anything but comedy (not that you can’t be funny).

Each month, we close the show with a collective poem we call The Dovetail, written during the show by the performers and audience.

We start taking names at 12:30 and make the list by drawing at 12:45. (Performers call out their preferred slots as names are drawn.) Show starts at 1:30. Slots are 7 minutes.

No cover. Beer, soda, and soda water available from Artspace. No cover ever.

Covers welcome. Originals encouraged!
