I have been attempting to apply for SSDI/SSI because I am unable to work, and my father is psychologically/mentally abusive. I meet the Social Security Administration's (SSA's) criteria for Disability, yet they deny me. They require only two of the same major joint to have subluxations (Both shoulders or Both Elbows or Both Hands-Wrists for upper body). Every joint in my body (200+ joints) have Subluxations, yet they say I'm not disabled?

It needs 10,000 signatures in the next 1-3 months! Send this to everyone you know, thank you!

Marfan Syndrome is already listed in the Social Security Administration's (SSA's) "Blue Book" or "List of Impairments," which means they can get on Disability automatically (if they meet the criteria). Theirs is in the cardiovascular, which EDS Vascular Type more than likely meets (http://www.ssa.gov/di....

Moreover, the Hypermobility Type meets the criteria in 1.02 Major dysfunction of a joint(s) of the SSA’s List of Impairments, if it causes two Major joints to have Subluxations, Chronic Pain, & Abnormal Motion of the joints (http://www.ssa.gov/di....

Why isn't EDS listed as well? Or at least mentioned, as Marfan Syndrome is mentioned?
