Ok folks, this one is a little different! I've had a few people mention that we should conduct a Scotch tasting, so here it is.....
Perhaps you're already a Scotch fan. Or maybe you'd like to learn a wee bit more about Scotland's most famous export. Whatever your interest level, you should not miss Amendment XXI's first Single Malt Scotch Tasting.
Our tour guide and 'Master of Whisky,' Robert Sickler, will take us around Scotland as we taste through a portfolio of Whisky including Highland, Lowland, and Islay styles. We'll learn how Whisky is made and how certain flavor profiles develop. This is a tasting you should NOT miss, especially if you've always been curious about Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
Robert Sickler is a wealth of information and delivers a fun and informative tasting. He'll help you discover flavors and aromas you never knew existed in Whisky. He also has some great food pairing ideas.
If you can't make it right at 5:30, don't worry! We'll be tasting Whisky up to 7:00 PM. For those of you who may want to carry on after the event, The Cellar Wine Bar, Forest Room 5, Vita, Lola, and the LoHi Steak Bar are all within walking distance!
