Paint / Draw En Plein Air (Local sites)

We've talked about it, tomorrow it's happening! 1980 Plein Air is Happening tomorrow.

This is an extension of the Figure Drawing Family of Artists that is growing weekly at 1980.

This meetup will happen every friday morning and additional weekdays on occasion. This park has it all! Trees, waterfalls, fountains, ponds and ducks! I'll be arriving at the park ready to paint at 10:30am and paint for at least 4 hours. (Pack a lunch!) This workshop is meant to encourage artist to get away from there desks! and out of the studio! Spring is a great time of year to go outside and make art! In addition to the numerous scenic parks and beaches, the group will meet at urban/industrial sites! This will make for a great change of pace to plein air painting and will allow us to comment on how our society integrates into the natural southern California landscape. After every painting session we will have a positive critque session either on site or back in the studio. In time I think we will have a group exhibition!
