Saturday Morning Wildlife Tours at Cosumnes River Preserve

Fall migration is underway so let's get out and see some sandhill cranes and waterfowl. Join me, Headwaters Kayak Tour Guide Bill Beckett for some great birding at Cosumnes River Preserve. Fall through winter are a magical time in the delta region that we call home. Each year hundreds of thousands of waterfowl migrate through the central valley on their way south. We will launch our kayaks and catch a glimpse of some of these magnificent creatures. In addition to waterfowl we are likely to see other birds as well as otters and beavers.

Cost is $20 if you have your own gear and $40 if you will be renting a kayak from us. Kayak rental includes paddle and live jacket. Please call 209-224-8367 to make a reservation. We will meet at the preserve at 8:30 for a 9:00AM launch. We will be off the water by about 12:00PM.
