Logging and Elasticsearch

Both Logstash and Graylog2 now use Elasticsearch as their backend storage. We've heard from Logstash and we'll have a presentation from Graylog in the coming months. Come to the Meetup and get a deep dive on what Elasticsearch is, what it does, how it works, and why it works so well for Logging.

Some of the core developers for Elasticsearch (Shay, Uri, and Rashid) will be in town and presenting at the MeetUp. Don't miss it.

We'll be in the Manoa 1 and 2 conference room on the 5th Floor of 1 California.

Food and beverages graciously sponsored by Elasticsearch!

The logging part, especially Kibana was great. It'll be great to show it off in the office. I was hoping to hear more about scaling and tuning elastic search too.
