Lomography at the Lincoln Park Zoo!

It’s time for another great meetup! Next Sunday, April 1st at 2pm, we will be stretching our legs, getting some sun and going a little wild at the Lincoln Park Zoo.

PS: If you bring your own analog camera, we’ll bring the film for it!

PPS: If your camera has been lost in the hustle of Spring cleaning, or you’re still testing the analog waters, we’ll be able to help out with a loaner camera for the first 5 people who claim them (just send us a message or email [masked])!

So we will see you on Sunday April 1st at 2 pm at the Lincoln Park Zoo.

Had a great time with those of you that found us! I had to leave as you were walking through the indoor jungle area. Sorry to take off without saying bye! It was nice meeting you and I look forward to the next meetup and taking photos with more of you soon. :)

yet another meetup that didn't happen because of complete lack of planning and communication. despite emailing them days before the meetup and multiple people posting on the meetup wall, they failed to set a *specific* location that they would be at to meet with the group. they stated the general zoo admin building as a meetup point. then changed the location within an hour of the meetup! i was at BOTH locations between 2:00-2:10. the zoo is a big place-perhaps setting a specific spot, and committing to it, would be helpful. and sticking around for a few mins would be as well. additionally, if people email you/post on the wall, asking for a location point- it might be helpful to actually *reply*. you could also, clearly state in the description when and where you will meet (including landmarks, address, times, who the organizer is/phone number ect.) just a couple suggestions. we all wasted a bunch of time looking for you. remember "without a meetup point, there is no meetup!"

I'm bummed - I showed up at 2 at the main entrance, walked around looking for the group and gave up after a while. I'd like to try to meet up with the group again, but it would be really helpful to provide a specific meeting spot and/or a contact number ahead of time in case there is difficulty locating the group.

I was at Cannon Dr. entrance for 30 minutes, early and then I couldn't get an email connection, then I read that it was 2050 or something on Clark. So, I decided it's best to just meet up the next time because it would be too much time wasted looking for y'all. Sorry and I hope to meet soon. I don't have a lomograph camera, so I'd have to borrow one. Thank you. Bonnie Turbeville
