Good morning

I wanted to thank you all for your warm feedback and enthusiasm not only last night but throughout Big Data Week itself, its been a really great week and is nearly drawing to a close.

We will be sending out a summary email, details on the next event and links to video and blog posts as well early next week but we wanted to give you a quick update on the last two events in the UK.

This evening we have the Big Data Debate. -"The right to innovate or the right to remain private?"

Then over the weekend we have the finale, an amazing weekend of hacking.

Data Science Hackathon

To bring Big Data Week to a close we have the first Data Science Hackathon, in case you've not already seen the details about this you can register for the on-site event at Westminster here (free lunch/dinner/breakfast over both days!) there are also CASH PRIZES up for grabs for the winners which you can find out about here.

If you're interested in data analytics or machine learning it will be an amazing weekend we also have remote video feeds from the other cities taking place, so sharing knowledge globally which has been the whole theme of this week.

Even if you don't want to take part or don't have a team I would love for you to drop in, grab  a coffee and chat to the team, contestants and keep the buzz going over the weekend as its going to be a long weekend of thinking, coding and eating :-) If you would like to come along to see whats going on and grab some lunch, then drop in to Hub Westminster.

As the week draws to a close I would like to get your answers to the Big Data Week survey if you could spare 3m and 42 seconds to complete it that would be appreciated you can find it HERE
