RxJava Architectures on Android - #8 Android LiveCode

Details

What a wonderful Android MeetUp we will have!

Save the date Londoners because we will have the pleasure to be welcomed at Microsoft (http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/documentation/articles/mobile-services-android-get-started/?fb=fr-fr)'s offices on March 19th at 6.30pm.

Everyone is talking about Functional Reactive Programming, but is anyone actually doing it on Android? Turns out not that many. And there are reasons for that - a bunch of problems. However, they can be solved, and the result is beautiful.

Timo Tuominen (http://github.com/tehmou) from Futurice (http://www.futurice.com/) explored some of the pitfalls and solutions encountered when building a reactive architecture in a large-scale project on Android.

So be ready to attend his presentation and a big surprise from Microsoft is waiting for you ;-)

A huge thanks to them for the pizzas and beers that we will enjoy during our meetup.

Don't forget that your +1 who are interested in Android are very welcome to come and join us: the more the better!

If you have any questions, feel free to poke me @ktkelltrran (https://twitter.com/KtKellyTran) and see you next week.

Cheers,

Kelly
