Evening all!

Later this year we will be putting on a special comedy show in Central London for LAAGers, and this Thursday 20th Sep there is an atheist-interest comedy show we thought we should mention!:

(Address: The New Inn, Ealing, London W5 5EX - 4 mins walk from South Ealing tube (piccadilly line) or 15 mins from ealing Broadway tube/train - overground and district/central line)

LINEUP:

Top professional comics (and an atheist compere you may know ;-))  This club was the first to discover Michael McIntyre, and previous resident comics have included Michael McIntyre, David Mitchell and Robert Webb (the peep show), and Jimmy Carr to name a few. You'll may well get to see the 'next big thing' first!

TOBIAS - Top comic from Sweden; some of you met him at a LAAG meetup i.e he's an atheist and MAY do some atheist material on the night ...we'll have to see ;-)

Tim Shisodia - cross between Harry Hill and Tony Hancock.

Mary Bourke - some sort of catholic (who once asked for a crucifix to be covered up before she'd perform at a comedy gig!)

...and a short spot from musical comic David Goo.

Compere: Adrian Rox

(Btw there has already been a religious 'incident' as a vicar has complained/vetoed the posters since they show comic Mark Bourke as the Virgin Mary ...!)

LAAGers get 20% discount if booked in advance - £8 in advance (reserve by 5pm on Thursday), £10 on the door. Dors 19:30, show 20:00 till 22:30 or so. To reserve:  email your name, phone no. and no.of tickets required to [address removed]

Please note, as with all live performances, the line-up is subject to change, and there are no garantees what subject material the comics will choose on the night.

SECONDLY... the September Caption Competition Polls are now open - there were lots of great entries this month ...which ones were your favourite?! To vote, select 'more' from the drop down menu, and then choose 'polls'. Entries can be seen here.

Cheers!

Ginny
