What we’re about

This group is for anyone interested in applying Bayesian networks (Belief networks), and more general probabilistic graphical models, aimed at introductory levels through to experienced. We have 3 to 4 meetups per year and focus on quality rather than quantity; we only invite well-known speakers, attend great venues (that you may or may not have heard of) and lay on the best food and drink. Our members stick around after the talk, and it's a great place to chat to other like-minded individuals working in this space in London.
We've so far been hosted in the Shard, the 250 year old Lloyds Register building, and the British Library. Topics to date have included a Bayes ranking system in Halo (TrueSkill), the convergence of deep learning and Bayesian approaches, and how to apply Belief networks to the real world, and we've had talks from Amazon, UCL and the University of Oxford.
