Friends Of The Earth Open Source Mapping Tool Code Hack Evening

Details
This meetup is going to be a code hacking evening and so, unlike the previous two FotE meetups, we are inviting only coders who have worked with one of the following technologies:-
-
Python
-
Django
-
AngularJS
-
Mapping software
We're going to try to do two one-hour mini-sprints to get some functionality or bugs worked on, but of course it should still be a fairly relaxed affair (hopefully not like going back to the office for more punishment!) with free pizza in the break and followed by a trip to the local.
To remind you about the project: FotE have developed a mapping tool which they use in lots of areas within the organisation, for example to create this map (http://www.foe.co.uk/what_we_do/clean_british_energy_map_39044.html) to show where green businesses are located with respect to green groups. They have now open sourced it here - https://bitbucket.org/foeewni/mapmaker so that the tech community can help contribute to its development and so that other enviromental groups can use the tool as well. Climate Change Coder volunteers are helping them add additional features and fix bugs. More details of the project can be found in this Friends Of The Earth Task Details doc (https://docs.google.com/a/cccoders.org/document/d/15-E4KpEbAagBWK_qHprD6AllQygHm7OwkgS1t313MF0/edit#) and if you are interested in joining the project you should also join this Google discussion group (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/cccoders-and-friends-of-the-earth-mapping-project).
