Really interesting exercise. The Organiser has proved completely the point where competitive or time pressuring environment might lead a developer sometimes to write unmaintainable code.

We had a good crowd, tasty new pizzas fresh from the wood-fired ovens of Fire+Stone and a different format for the xmas dojo, which received lots of positive comments; thanks everyone!

Really great fun; very different to the normal kata based dojos. Hadn't previously been exposed to the Extreme Startup format, but the added elements of pressure and competition led to some interesting results. Fantastic evening and a great bunch of people. Can't wait for the next one!

It was nice and challenging. Trying to solve problems in a time constraint let us see our improvement points, really interesting exercise.

So far the best Coding Dojo I've ever been: Challenging Xmas task, divers members using clojure, java, C#, scala, php, javascrip... awesome!

Felt welcomed and enjoyed the coding dojo, although I still have reservations to the effectiveness of the race format.

I've got something a little special and different planned for the Xmas code dojo - a surprise that I hope will be lots of fun and a bit more exciting than algorithmic katas... :)
