However today the use of information technology within an enterprise has moved to embrace a wider set of business requirements with more emphasis on using information and technology to engage more effectively with the market, customers and suppliers. There are new demands ranging from the business use of new devices (e.g. iPads) through to building new products around external cloud ‘services’ This discussion ‘joins up’ these various issues and sets key questions as to how Information Architects can be effective in a world that exploits these “Outside In” technology opportunities.
