LONDON CREATIVE GROUP under new management (from Feb 2012)

aimed at creative individuals IN

ART: painting, drawing, photography, digital, illustration, film and video, print, ceramist and sculptors, arts and crafts, tatoo, etc.

DESIGN: Graphic, web, print, products, furniture, interior and architectural, fashion and textile, etc.

MEDIA and more: writers, journalists, musician, composers, singers, etc.

The list is long...Even though we are looking for DIVERSITY, we also want to focus on CONNECTION

 

The key word here is COLLABORATION

Our aims are: INSPIRATION -MOTIVATION -CREATION

through LEARNING new skills, DEVELOPING and SHARING knowledge, UNDERSTANDING different disciplines and cultures, NETWORKING to expand your creative circle, ENJOYING the activity while meeting new friends.

We will get our hands dirty by working on real action packed fun projects with fellow artists while at the same time networking, socializing and making friends.

All this in the hope of coming together as a creative community from different backgrounds and disciplines.

HOW?

* by suggesting meetups: Our page is designed so you can add meetups (you can use the forum for general inquiries or quests)

* by asking for help in your creative project

* by suggesting ideas and creating new projects

* by giving opportunities through sharing

* by promoting, marketing and spreading the word

 

What KIND of MEETUPS can you expect?

Creating exhibitions, going to fairs, supporting our fellows by assisting to their event, organizing workshops, introducing our art (design, media and more), collaborating with charity events, producing art together, networking and making friends, going to museum, chatting about everything creative over a meal or a drink, etc. etc. etc.

 

We charge £1 per person per event to cover all admin costs. Please have that ready for collection at the beginning of each event. Thanks

 

What we are NOT:

-A dating site, A place to advertise other meetups or individual businesses (for that we have sponsors and our own collaborators), A student group, a college or a school, A classified board

PS: You must be 18+ to be a member of this meetup

Members should be individuals, not groups, agencies, companies, recruiters, etc. (if you are one of those, get in touch with me via email please)

"NO SHOW" policy

After 3  "no show"s a member gets removed from this group so please make sure you change your RSVP (24h before): send me a text, email or call the organizers if you know you cannot make the event.

We spend a lot of time and effort to make a successful event, we need to book a place and you not turning up affects our relationship with the management and sometimes even a cost can occur.
