D - Robot Tank Battle Tournament

The next D meet is officially scheduled for Tuesday 24th March at the Skills Matter venue - so put this date in your diaries :)

This meetup will be focused on an awesome Robot Tank Battle Tournament. I thought it would be fun for us to program some robot tanks and let them fight it out in the battle arena.

There is quite a lot of interesting programming involved in coming up with an effective strategy not to mention some maths, physics and of course the obligatory run away very fast and hide algorithm.

The Schedule:

1. Introduction to the Robot Tank Battle framework with some basic info on how to build a tank robot and the API.

2. Pairing on building the perfect robot - so we can hold a tournament to see which robot comes out on top.

If it's fun we can challenge the other D meetups to a battle in the future!

I'm also open to suggestions for topics or things you would like to do in addition or at future meetups.
