London Drupal Coworking meetup #17

RSVP now for the second London Drupal Coworking day in July.  Stalwart freelancer, to just a novice, you're all most welcome to attend.

We're back at the stunning War Rooms, at PEER 1 Hosting.

Spaces are limited, so book early.  If you're unfortunately too late and all the spaces have gone make sure you get on the waiting list - we're mostly freelancers and circumstance change ...

Now with added Lunch&Learn - exceptional and relevant presentations while you snack ... don't miss out.

Still unsure? Need more details before you book? Check out the groups website:

Now with full access for the day to all of Drupalize.Me's training videos ...

    The weekly Drupal hack:

Just to amuse and edify you before the weekend, this is one of a handful of new (to me) drush commands I used this week:

    >drush status theme
    >drush vset theme_default garland
    >drush vset admin_theme garland

(I'd just hacked a theme I was working on and couldn't log back in ... I think their self explanatory?)

    >drush upwd admin --password=PASSWORD

    Or, in general:

    >drush upwd USERNAME --password=PASSWORD

(Necessary after somebody (they'll remain names less!) distracted me mid-password ...)

Obviously you'll need something like shell access to your host to use these drush commands, if your not working on your laptop that is, but they rock!

    Have a good weekend

I am sorry for the last minute change but unfortunately I will not be in London tomorrow. I wish you a good and productive meeting and hope I will be able to attend the next one. All the best and sorry again for the last minute change.

Ben, no problem - and, I appreciate the update: respect ;-) I'll see if I can arrange something with somebody on the waiting list ... Hope you'll be able to make a future meeting. Maybe one of the two scheduled for August - details to follow.

Is there anybody, that's currently not showing as "going", that can only attend the morning session of the 24th? There's one other that can only join us for afternoon session - if a place becomes free I'll book you both in ...
