Join your fellow Eclipse enthusiasts at the first (annual?) Eclipse Night London! During the evening, we will have a handful of seasoned speakers talking about exciting evolutions in Eclipse, including a talk by Mike Milinkovich, executive director of the Eclipse foundation. We will have a networking break in the middle of the evening, as well as food and beverage for those attending.

An overview of Debrief - the Open Source application used by the UK Royal Navy for the past 20 years, with an Eclipse RCP interface for the past 10.

19:00 - Data Analysis and Visualization using Eclipse RCP (and some JavaFX!), Matthew Gerring, Diamond Light Source

How Eclipse is being used at the Diamond Light Source Synchrotron - the UK's biggest experiment - to perform analysis and visualisation on huge amounts of data.

The Executive Director of the Eclipse Foundation will give us some insights into technology trends and how Eclipse will play a part in these.

Have you ever felt Eclipse is running too fast and needs to be slowed down a little? Worry that the user interface is too uncluttered? A big fan of the beachball? In this tongue-in-cheek talk, Alex will show how to write plug-ins that do all this and more to enable a worse user experience in your favourite IDE.
