French chanson and swing at Jamboree

Details
This quirky quartet from North Devon perform curiously engaging French songs with shades of chanson, upbeat swing-shuffle and balkanesque cool. They drift into a Gallic reverie as Michel Leclerc’s atmospheric accordion pours Parisian flavour over slick garlicky bass and drum grooves courtesy of the enigmatic Gingembre and Monsieur B. Singing in French, charismatic frontman Moustache brings a smile to your face and a tear to your eye – et voila! An irresistible urge to clap, tap and tango.
Support by Berlin Balalaika Brothers: Morgan Nickolay and Artem Urbach – aka the Berlin Balalaika Brothers – break all convention, exploring in a modern way a limitless variety of balalaika. Sometimes melancholic, sometimes groovy, the Brothers interpret a growing repertoire of folk songs, classics, film music, Gypsy jazz and Klezmer.
Tickets cost £6 adv and £8 at the door. I would recommend buying a ticket in advance, since concerts at Jamboree sometimes do sell out.

The door will open at 8pm and the music will start at around 8:45. I'll be at Jamboree from around 8pm.
